I was graduated engineer in applied physics from the UCLouvain university in 2016. I then pursued my studies by doing a PhD in physics as a teaching assistant at UCLouvain. During the 6 years I occupied this position, I shared my time between teaching physics both at the bachelor (general physics to large audience) and master levels (optics, photonics, vacuum physics) and my research. The latter consisted in the development of instruments from scratch to perform molecular spectroscopy at cryogenic temperatures. After completing my PhD thesis, I left the fundamental research for a year to manage IBA (ion beam applications) research laboratories.
I now share my time between the IASB and the UCLouvain institutions as a FED-Twin researcher to study the fingerprint of molecules of astrophysical interest with a focus on the phenomenon of collision induced absorption. The position includes new instrumental developments, experimental measurements and retrieval of relevant information to feed molecular databases.
